John C. Kubacak Last Rites Held Wednesday Mr. John Cyril Kubacak, age 79, passed away in a Waco hospital at 7:15 p.m. Monday night. Mr. Kubacak resided in West at 512 South Marable Street. Mr. Kubacak was born in Czechoslovakia and had lived in West for the past 58 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and was a retired farmer and carpenter. Rosary was recited in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Assumption in West. Rev. James Quilter officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, John W. Kubacak of Dallas, Frank Kubacak of Hereford and Joe Kubacak of Abbott; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Smetak of Dallas; Mrs. Annie Cmerek of Aquilla, and Mrs. Frances Nors of Hillsboro; one sister, Mrs. Joe K. Cervenka of Granger; seventeen grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charlie Kubacak of West, Joseph Smetak of Dallas, James Smetak of Dallas, George Nors of Hillsboro, Joe Cervenka of Granger and Richard Cervenka of Granger.
