Louis Hutyra Dies In Dallas Louis F. Hutyra of West, a retired farmer and veteran of World War I, died Sunday in a Dallas hospital. He was 78. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic church of the Assumption at West, with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Hutyra was born in Fayette County, but had lived in the West area for the past 64 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption He was a member of West American Legion Post No. 478 and a member of the SPJST. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Sophie Opella of West, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Danny Mynarcik, Ilan Opella, Ben Roy Hutyra, Edwin Volcik, Frank Armstrong and Ernest Tobola, Sr. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 80, No. 11, Edition 1, Friday July 3, 1970, page 1.
