Eugene A. Hromadka, age 60, of Rt. 1, West passed away March 31, 1987 at the Marlin V.A. Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Widacki officiating. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Joe Cihlar. Mr. Hromadka was born May 7, 1926 in Hill County, the son of Adolph and Annie Hromadka. He married Helen Kramolis November 28, 1950 in Abbott. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a painter and member of VFW Post 4819 and a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Helen Hromadka of West; one son, Ricky Hromadka of Waco; four daughters, Mary Allen, Betty Hromadka and Denise Matus, all of West and Sharon Hromadka of Wafdco; two sisters, Elsie Perez and JoAnn Matus, both of West; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Terry Kramolis, Robert Hutyra, Raymond Kral, Randy Sulak, Kenneth Matus and Benny Matusek. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 97, No. 14, Edition 1, Thursday, April 2, 1987, page 12.
