Alfons Hrabal Sr. Dies Sunday In West Alfons R. Hrabal Sr., 71, of Route 2, West, died Sunday afternoon November 27, 1977 in West Community Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Frank Miller celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Monday night at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Hrabal was born near West and had lived in the West-Tours-Ross area all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. He was a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2305 of West and of the SPJST Lodge No. 6 of Cottonwood. He married Julia Hykel Nov. 8, 1927. at West. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary November 12. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Eugene Hrabal of Bruceville, Alfons Hrabal Jr. of Arlington and Edward R. Hrabal of Route 2, West; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Soukup of Robinson, Mrs. Angeline Grooms of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Irene Reeves of Yellville, Ark.; a brother, Raymond Hrabal of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Dvorak of Arlington and Mrs. Vlasta Hykel of West; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Eugene Hrabal, Jr., Richard Soukup, Walter Kocian, Jr., Brian Hrabal, Jimmy Lewis and Bernard Wilcox.
