Mrs. Carrie Dvoracek, age 82, of Arlington, formerly of West and Penelope, died Thursday morning, June 27, in an Arlington Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Catholic Church of the Nativity in Penelope, the Rev. William Spong was celebrant. Burial followed in St; Mary's Cemetery near West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mrs. Dvoracek was born April 19, 1903 in West. She was married to John Dvoracek on October 24, 1928 in West. He preceded her in death March 21, 1983. Mrs. Dvoracek was a housewife. She was a member of KJZT, Catholic Daughters of America, and Catholic Church of the Nativity in Penelope. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Dvoracek of Lubbock and William (Bill) Dvoracek of Denton; a daughter, Bernadette Pustejovsky of Arlington; a brother, Ernest Urbanovsky of Route 2, West; two sisters, Albina Urbanovsky and Sophie Kolar, both of West; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Those serving as pallbearers were grandsons, Michael Dvoracek, Dennis Dvoracek, David Dvoracek, Dale Dvoracek, Larry Pustejovsky and John Dvoracek.
