Requiem Mass Held Tues. For Ben A. Bartosh Ben A. Bartosh, 68, of Corpus Christi died at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in a West rest home. Requiem mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Leonard Leddy as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Bartosh was born at West and lived at Penelope for about 40 years before moving to Corpus Christi. He operated a grocery store in Corpus Christi until his retirement. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi and the SPJST Lodge No. 167 of Penelope. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Albina Bartosh of Corpus Christi; one brother, Joe Bartosh of Penelope; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Dudik of West, Mrs. Cecelia Dvorsky of Waco and Mrs. Willie Mae Tackett and Mrs. Albina Vanzura, both of Dallas; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ernest Cinek and Harry Lichnovsky of West, Ray Dulak of Corpus Christi, Bill Zatopek of Austin, Bobby Devorsky of Waco and Johnny Hynek of Penelope.
