Bio

Otto Heinrich Karl Kramer was baptized February 10, 1872, by Pastor Wilhelm Graef, and he was confirmed April 18, 1886, by Pastor Wilhelm Pfenning, at St. James Lutheran Church in New Wehdem, Austin County, Texas. Otto Kramer married Wilhelmine (Minnie) Muegge on November 15, 1894, in New Wehdem, Austin County, Texas. Biography contributed by Daniel Bode (46863523) Added First Otto Kramer Dies On Monday Otto Kramer, age 65, died at his home in the Gerald community at 2:20 a.m. Monday, October 11th. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the St. Paul Evangelical church at Gerald, Rev. A. Dettmann officiating. Interment was at the Gerald Cemetery. Mr. Kramer was born in Austin county where he lived for almost 36 years. He moved to McLennan county in 1907, settling in the Gerald community where he resided until his death. Survivors are his wife; eight daughters, Mrs. Elsie Miller, Mrs. Selma Seith and Mrs. Lydia Filer of Waco; Mrs. Thekla Weissinger of New Jersey; Mrs. Katie Otto of Leroy; Miss Minnie Beseda, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Wanda Knoefler, Arlington, Calif.; and Miss Rubye Kramer of Gerald; three sons, Garrett of McGregor, Erwin of West and Reinhard Kramer of Gerald; four brothers, Ernest of Elm Mott, Albert and William of Brenham and August Kramer of Bee county; three sisters, Mrs. Minna Steinkamp of Elm Mott, Mrs. Emma Grimm and Mrs. Lydia Broeker of Brenham; twenty-four grandchildren.
