Bio
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov 28 at 2 pm in the Goodrich Chapel for Josephine Norval, who died at Cedar County Memorial hospital at El Dorado Springs Saturday, Nov 25. Officiating at the service was Rev Maurice D Pond and burial was made in Pleasant Springs cemetery, Mrs Norval, daughter of John and Hanna Weigel, was born at Anselmo, Nebr., Oct 19, 1887, She was married to Anton M Norval in 1905, Four sons and two daughters were born to the couple. In 1915 they moved to Kansas City and in 1934, they moved to a farm in St Clair county where they lived the remainder of their lives. Preceding her in death were her husband in December of 1964 and a son, Leroy in November of 1949. survivors are three sons, John E Norval, Roscoe, Robert L Norval, Kansas City and Charles A Norval, Liberty; two daughters, Mrs Helen Willis, Kansas City and Mrs Leota Wait, Smithville; one sister, Tilly Hoskins, Ord, Nebr.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
