Bio
Genevieve Schuckman, 89, died April 18, 2008, at Presbyterian Manor Health Care, Salina, KS. She was born August 28, 1918, in rural Munjor, KS the daughter of Joseph Herl and Catherine Frank Herl. On May 5, 1936, she married William F. Schuckman in Liebenthal, KS. She was a longtime farmer's wife in Rush County and was a resident of Salina since 1979. She was a member of St. Mary's Quilting Circle. She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her brother, Clarence Herl; and three sisters, Albina Schuckman, Bertha Schaffer, Leona Hearld. She is survived by her three daughters: Carol Hoff and husband Lee, Salina; Patricia Thibault, Hays, and Shirley Andrla and husband Ed, Salina; four grandchildren: Michelle Hoff, Wichita, Michael Hoff and wife Jamie, Salina, Mark Hoff and wife Deirdre, Salina and Paul Thibault and wife Jennifer, Olathe; brother, Robert Herl and wife LaVerna, Munjor, KS. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina. Ryan Mortuary obituary.
