The Fairfield Independent (Fairfield, NE), Friday, November 8, 1912; pg. 5 DEWEESE On Wednesday, a week ago, Frank Mazour and Miss Rose Drapal were married. ========================== The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, April 1, 1971; pg. 7 Mrs. Frank (Rose C.) Mazour was born April 9, 1894 in Czechoslovakia. She passed away at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, Nebr. March 20, 1971 at the age of 76. She came to America with her parents John and Cecilia Drapal in 1904 and lived all her life in the Deweese community. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption church (sic) and the Altar Society of Deweese. Besides her husband Frank, she is survived by two sons, Albert of Hastings and George of Lincoln. A daughter, Anna, passed away in 1931. Other survivors are six grandchildren; step-mother; Mrs. Lula Drapal, Hastings; brother John Drapal of Fairfield; sister, Mrs. Prokop Kucera of Deweese; half brother Joe Soukop of Superior and four half sisters, Mrs. Erma Kimminau of Harvard; Mrs. Anna Kucera, Scappoose, Ore.; Sister Germaine Frances Drapal of Atwood, Kans. and Mrs. Gertrude Perkins of Annapolis, Maryland. The Rosary was recited Monday night and funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday March 23, 1971 at Assumption church (sic) in Deweese. The Requiem Mass was celebrated by Father Frank Lieblinger. Pallbearers were grandsons: Robert, Richard, James and Donald Mazour and nephews Roy Drapal and Lloyd Soukop. Burial was at the Assumption cemetery (sic) near Deweese.
