The Fairfield Auxiliary (Fairfield, NE), Thursday, May 24, 1934; pg. 1 Louis Drapal Dies Result Accident In Truck with Joe Mazour When Hit by Car; Dies ln Superior Hospital Wednesday evening of last week a fatal accident occurred about a north of Superior, when the truck driven by Joe Mazour stalled and was hit by a Chevorlet (sic) coupe fatally injuring Louis Drapal, the other occupant of the the truck. Louis was taken to the Superior Hospital where he died Sunday afternoon of internal injuries. Louis, 21, was the son of Mrs. Drapal living on a farm about six miles south of Deweese. Funeral services will be held at the Deweese Catholic Church Wednesday morning. Burial will be in the Deweese Catholic cemetry (sic). The occupants of the ether car were not severly (sic) injured.
