Born July 3, 1912, in Penelope, Texas, Annie Patak passed away on July 6, 2008, a few days after her 96th birthday.She lived in Shiner, Texas and Ennis, Texas before moving to Dallas, Texas in 1943. She was a member of RVOS, KJZT and St. Pius Catholic Church. Annie liked to watch sports, loved her grandchildren and, above all, was a great cook. She was a warm, kind and sweet person. She made sacrifices for her family and will be deeply missed. Annie is survived by sisters: Lillian Valek and Del Rita Svoboda; daughter, Valerie Callan; sons: Bernard Patak, Sr. and his wife, Adell, Raymond Patak, and his wife, Judy, and Paul Patak and his wife, Betty; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie W. Patak; her parents, Henry A. and Annie E. (Darilek) Parma; sisters: Edythe Harrison, Josephine Patril and Aurelia Quinn; brothers: Henry Parma, Wesley Parma, Gerard Parma and George Parma; and son-in-law, Frank Callan. Rosary will be Thursday, July 10, 2008, 7:30 p.m. in the Keever Chapel in Ennis; Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church in Ennis, Texas; Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of J.E.
