Bio
Marguerite Wilson Collins was born to James Taylor Wilson and Ida Cornelia "Dedie" O'Banion in Shelby County, Texas. She moved to Houston, Texas and received her higher education there. She went to work for the railroad and worked there until her death. She always had her brothers and sisters come from Louisiana to live with her. They either went to school or worked. Marguerite Wilson married E. W. Collins and from this union one son was born. His name is E.W. Collins, Jr. He lives in California and has two daughters. Marguerite was one of the sweetest ladies you could have known.
