Sep 13, 1922 - Emory, Texas / d. May 11, 1998 - Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas) They had three sons: - Troy Lee Newman m. Marlys Ann Vier - William Loyd Newman Never Married - John Wesley Newman m1. Vicki Dean Rogers m2. Vicki Wallace m3. Judith Lucille Brumett Cross Hopper Blevins "Jean", as she was known, was one of six children of Reuben Allen Yates and Bessie Elsa Mae Vaughan Yates: Ruby Ona - b. Apr 1, 1911 d. May 12 1942 Sadie Louise - b. Aug 5 1912 d. Mar 9 2005 William Allen "Willie" - b. Nov 22 1913 d. Nov 25 1985 Walter Lee "W.L." - b. Apr 28 1916 d. Oct 19 2007 Charles Loyd "Charlie" - b. Mar 24 1919 d. May 5 1970 Jean was a very creative and caring person. She loved to write poetry and was very good at it. She was funny and warm. She was riddled with Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years before her passing and spent much of her time in great pain from it. It was also the key factor in her demise. She is very sorely missed, daily.
