John Wesley Newman was born April 19, 1954 to Elmer Roy (Roy) Newman and Cuba Jeane (Jean) Yates Newman in Commerce, Hunt, Texas, USA. John's family moved to Mesquite, Dallas, Texas, USA when he was a toddler and he lived there, mostly, his entire life. There were brief instances he lived in an apartment in the Dallas Area in his 20s, but most all of his life he lived in Mesquite in his family home on Lindo Drive. He met and married Vicki Dean Rogers on his birthday: April 19, 1975 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA, and they divorced three years later on August 3, 1978 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA. There were no children of this union. He met and married Vicki Wallace on September 28, 1979 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA and they divorced two years later on May 27, 1981 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA. There were no children of this union. He married Judith Lucille Brumett on July 4, 1998 and became step-father to Judy's daughter, Heather Anne Hopper and they were blessed with one son of their own: John-Thomas Adam Newman John became a finish carpenter and, later, a flooring installer. He worked hard and was so disappointed in being struck by RA, which caused congestive heart failure in his later life. He suffered for over 25 years from Rheumatoid Arthritis and it caused great pain and numerous health issues for him...but, he ALWAYS missed working and the sense of pride good work gave him. Sadly, John passed from cancer on December 19, 2022 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, USA, and will FOREVER be missed by his wife, family, and friends. Rest Peacefully, My Love.
