Mrs. Mary Lou Novy passed away early Saturday morning, July 26, 2008 at her home in Ennis. She was 76. Mary Lou was born in Anton, Texas, July 2, 1932 to parents Joe Belha and Frances Kubin Belha. She was reared in Ennis and attended Ennis schools, graduating in 1950. On January 12, 1952, she married Eugene Novy and they made their home in Ennis. She worked for Ennis Business Forms for 10 years as an Office Clerk/Secretary and for the Ennis ISD for 17 years as a Special Ed. Teacher's Aide. Mary Lou was a member of KJZT, Catholic Daughters of America and St. John Catholic Church. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Eugene, of Ennis; two sons: Dale Novy and his wife, Theresa, and Mark Novy and his wife, Debbie; one daughter, Judy, and her husband, Robert Strunc; two sisters: Geraldine Horak and Janie Jakubik; Grandchildren: Angie, and her husband, Kyle Ranton, Amy, and her husband, Travis Barnett, Bobby Strunc; Brittany, Brandon and Brandi Novy; Tyler and Caitlyn Novy; Great-Grandchildren: Haylee Strunc and Kylee Ranton; Numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffrey Novy and two brothers, Joe and Wesley Belha. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 (Visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) at the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 30, at St. John Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Pallbearers: Bobby Strunc, Brandon Novy, Dwain Jakubik, Richard Spaniel, Glynn Spaniel, Lynn Spaniel and Tyler Novy. Honorary pallbearers: Angie and Kyle Ranton, Amy and Travis Barnett, Brittany Novy, Heath Nash, Brandi Novy, Ethan Cook, Caitlyn Novy, Haylee Strunc and Kylee Ranton.
