Iris Jean Ryals, 72, a native of Elsanor and a resident of Robertsdale, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. Survivors include her husband, Joel David Ryals of Robertsdale; two daughters, LaWanda Jean (Larry) Roberts and Donna Marcella (David) Petelinski, of Robertsdale; son, David Anthony Ryals of Las Vegas; two sisters, Joanna (Denson) Glover of Robertsdale and Gloria Mixon of Bay Minette; four brothers, Jerry (Betty Sue) Pierce of Lake Jordan, Rex (Darlene) Pierce, Gary Pierce and Bill Pierce, all of Robertsdale; seven grandchildren, Sabrina (Adam) Taylor, Casandra (Tru) Ewing, Katrina (Jason) McDaniel, Amber Ryals, Jessica Jarrell, David Ryals and Trevor Ryals; and four great-grandchildren, Allison McDaniel, Morganne Taylor, Andrew McDaniel and Beau Ryals. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitchell Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Robertsdale. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
