Mr. Ollie Rex Pierce April 7, 1941 - August 29, 2022 Mr. Ollie Rex Pierce, age 81 was a native and a resident of Robertsdale, Alabama. He passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Mr. Pierce served in the United States Army. Being in a musical family, Ollie Rex enjoyed strumming his guitar and singing with his family and friends. He was a huge fan of George Jones. He enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with family. In his earlier years, he liked to fish and hunt and grew beautiful roses and prize tomatoes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lucille Pierce, sister, Iris Jean Ryals and her husband, Joel Ryals, two brothers, Jerry Pierce and Gary Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Darlene Pierce, two sisters, Gloria Pierce Mixon, Joanna (Denson) Glover, brother, William Arthur Pierce, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Robertsdale, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice, 1450 North McKenzie Street, Foley, AL 36535.
