Bio
Charles Duane, the son of Charles D. and Jeanice L. Sutton Nitz, was born at Wahoo, Nebraska on October 7, 1960 and died near Marquette, Nebraska on August 7, 1976 at the age of 15 years and 10 months. In 1969 the family moved to Aurora, where he has since resided. He attended the Aurora Public Schools and last year he served as Student Manager for the basketball team. At an early age he was baptized and later confirmed in the Presbyterian Church in Wahoo and after coming to Aurora, transferred his membership to the Federated Church. He is survived by his parents; sister, Diana of Aurora; four half brothers, Michael, Ronald, Russell and David Cole; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larson of Stromsburg and Emil Nitz of Wahoo; several uncles and aunts and cousins and other relatives and many close friends.
