Sarah was the wife of Emerson G Wells. She was the mother of Fairva, Maude, Winfield, Ulysses, Hattie, Minnie, Jerry, Malisa, Stella, William, and Guy Wells. Sarah was the daughter of William Morgan Robinette and Melissa Prudence Holbrook. The Daily Local News , West Chester, Chester County, Pa. August 8, 1964 Mrs. Sarah Robinette Wells, 83, of Landenberg RD 1, died yesterday morning at Community Hospital, Jennersville, following a short illness. Mrs. Wells was born at Lipps, Wise County, Va., the daughter of the late William and Melissa Holbrook Robinette. She lived in Landenberg since 1941. Mrs. Wells was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, of Bel Air, Md. She is survived by her husband, Emerson G. Wells; five sons, Winfield S., address unknown, Ulysses G., of Glenmoore, Jerry, of Willow Run, Del., William R., of Landenberg, and Guy G., of White Marsh, Md, and five daughters, Mrs. Maude F. Gibson, of East Stone Gap, Va.; Mrs. Hattie I. Massey, of Unionville; Mrs. Minnie G. Massey, of West Grove, Mrs. Margaret M. Roat, of Media, and Mrs. Stella Tice, of West Chester; five sister(s), three brothers, 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The Daily Local News , West Chester, Chester County, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services from the Foulk Funeral Home, West Grove, Pa., on Monday, Aug. 10, at 1 p.m. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 7 - 9 p.m.
