Bio
Son of Dennis Quinn (b. Roscommon, Ireland) and Elizabeth (McGann) Quinn (b. Lincolshire, England). Married Annie May Brown on 04 May 1914. Father of one child. Tom worked in a harness shop with his brother Dennis, who was a saddlemaker. Tom became a Fireman. He was killed in the line of duty. His death certificate lists his cause of death as: "Drowned while rescuing drowning persons in Shoal Creek during great storm." Tom's name is on a memorial to firefighters who died in service. The memorial is on the grounds of the Texas state capitol building. (Middle name may have been Eugene.)
