Bio

Funeral services for Warren A. Shipley, 69, of 22628 E. Figueroa St., were conducted yesterday at the Stone and Myers Mortuary Chapel. Private inurnment followed the rites. Mr. Shipley, who died last Saturday, was born in Utah and had lived in the Torrance area for 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving Mr. Shipley are his widow, Gertrude; a son Kenneth Shipley, now in the Merchant Marine; a step-son Joseph Tingey of Downey; two daughters, Lorraine Muskat of La Puente and Dorothy Yates of Sun Valley, Calif.; a brother, Clarence of Idaho; two sisters, Naomia Brown of Torrance and Erma Boll of Huntington Park; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Children: Adrain Leon Shipley - 1925 Buried under the name Infant Shipley. Kenneth Warren Shipley 1922 - 1983
