"Chayce" Hurst V Karlye Hurst Katie Sweat Kellie Sweat Cade Nolan Wanda was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her family was her life. She had an impact upon everyone she touched. Everywhere the sole of her foot touched the ground she was industrious, taking care of someone or preparing to feed them. To some she was known as "Wanda." To some she was known as "Honey." To some she was known as "Mom." To some she was known as "Maw Maw." To all of us she was known as "FRIEND." Wanda Lee Bertram Hurst was the demonstration of love. Therefore our hearts hurt and we grieve; but we do not grieve as those who have no hope. Wanda Hurst trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord...so we grieve but we have the confidence that she is in the presence of the Lord. The scripture teaches in II Corinthians, Chapter 5, "To be absence from the body, is to be hat home with the Lord." When Mom took her last breath on this earth, her next breath was in the presence of the Lord Jesus. For that reason this is not "goodbye." Rather it is simply, "We'll see you later!" We will celebrate her life until we are reunited.
