Bio

Infected Foot Causes Death of Mrs. Holecek Mrs. Katie Holecek, age 50 years, 10 months and 21 days, died in a Waco sanitarium at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 1931. Death came as a result of blood poisoning contracted from stepping on a rusty nail. Deceased was a resident of Tours, having lived there all of her life. Funeral services were held at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Tours, on Monday, June 29, at 9:00 a.m., Rev. C. Precker in charge. Interment was at the Tours Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Will Wachsmann, A.F. Schroeder, Will Vrba, Frank Wachsmann, Jr., Andrew Schroeder and Albin Vrba. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Katherine Wolf of Tours; two sisters, Mrs. F. J. Wachsmann and Mrs. W. G. Schroeder of Leroy; five sons, Lawrence, Joe, Victor, Andrew and Roman, all of Tours; three daughters, Mrs. J.G.
