Bio
Miss Janice Katheryn Jares, age 21, of 400 E. Spruce in West died Monday morning, January 5, 1987 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 7 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Widacki officiating. Burial followed at White Rock Cemetery, Ross, Texas. Janice was born July 28, 1965 in Austin and had lived in West most of her life. She graduated from West High School in 1983 where she was a cheerleader for two years and a member of the band and the Deca Club. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, and worked as a clerk in a convenience store in Waco. Her father, Donald F. Jares, died May 11, 1983. She is survived by: her mother, Dovie Jares of West; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jares of West and Mrs. Lillian Bell of Hillsboro; two brothers, Jeffrey Jares and Jason Jares, both of West; and two sisters, Jennifer Jares and Judy Jares of West. Pallbearers were: Mike Gerik, Kenneth Huffines, Clyde Lehmann, Joe Dulock, Steven Berger and David Dobecka. Honorary pallbearers were all her friends.
