Jeffrey "Jeff" Jares, age 49, of Birome, passed away early Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Birome Community Center, with Jimmy Tucker officiating. Jeff was born May 21, 1968 in West, . He attended St. Mary's School, Ross School and was a 1986 graduate of West High School. On November 19, 1994 he was united in marriage to Clare Mills in Meridian. Jeff was a welder, working for several area businesses including the Country Blacksmith, Stelco Industries and Altec Inc. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Jeff liked to BBQ, volunteer for local fundraising events and take care of the Birome Community Center. He especially loved spending time with his family, coaching softball and helping his kids with their show cows.
