Bio

Louis J. Pustejovsky, age 91 of West, passed away October 2, 1998 at West Rest Haven. A rosary was recited at 10 a.m. October 5 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 a.m. with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Pustejovsky was born on July 20, 1907 in West and had lived in the West area all his life. He was a retired farmer and had been employed with McLennan County Commissioner Precinct #3 for a number of years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, the Knights of Columbus #2305 of West and the K.J.T. Society #31. He was preceded in death by his wives, Agnes Urbanovsky Pustejovsky who died December 31, 1965 and Beatrice Gerik Berger Pustejovsky who died November 7, 1995. Survivors include one sister, Annie Krenek of West and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were Joe Mynarcik Jr., Alibn Picha, Lambert Pustejovsky, Larry Urbanovsky, Ernest Sykora and Ron Kershen. The family received visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. October 4 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The West News, West, Texas, Thursday, October 8, 1998
