Bio

MRS. ISABELLE HOLLOWAY Mrs. Isabelle M. Holloway, was born Feb. 23, 1875 at Belle Plain, Ia., the daughter of David and Elizabeth Cox. She died of a heart attack Oct. 24, at the home of her son, Chester. She came to Barron county from Iowa, in 1876 and lived in this county most of her life. She was married Nov. 8, 1896 to Ellis Holloway in the township of Maple Grove. They were the parents of four children, Hazel Snider of Barron, Mrs. Harvey Paulsen of Barron, Chester and Anson of Maple Grove. Besides the children, she is survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Hillyer of Sparta and four brothers, Frank and Harry of Wilton, Walter of New Mexico and Forest of Arlington, Va. Her husband died May 30, 1937. Also preceding her in death were two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held Oct. 28, at the Barron Methodist church.
