Bio

Son of James Monroe and Georgeann Howard Chapman, and husband of Lillian Kathryn Sanderson Chapman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James, Marion Elmo, Alvie Franklin, John Ward, and Florence Monroe; and sisters, Mary Victoria and Julia Chapman. Surviving him were brothers, William Jasper, Harvey Carroll, Howard L, Charles Spurgeon.
