Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Eagle, 14 Nov. 1935 Former Resident of Brazos Dies at Willow Hole Relatives in Bryan were notified yesterday afternoon of the death of Mrs. J. W. Thompson, aged 79 years, at her home near Willow Hole, Madison county. Mrs. Thompson and family lived in Brazos county and in the Steep Hollow community for many years before moving their home at Madison county, and many old time friends here learn with regret of her death. Mrs. Thompson was born in Brazos county and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nat Risinger, pioneers. She was a sister of C. M. Risinger. One daugnter survives the deceased, Mrs. Levi Durham of near Willow Hole, with whom she made her home during her last years. Two sisters and one brother also survive her, Mrs. I. J. Holligan and Mrs. J. E. Bullock both of Steep Hollow community, and C. M. Risinger of Bryan. The funeral for Mrs. Thompson was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in High Prairie cemetery in Madison county. Those going from Bryan were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Risinger, Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Risinger, Miss Birdie Risinger, Mrs. Robert Jones and perhaps others.
