Annie R. Iverson, 73, died at 8:05 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2005, in Our Lady of Holy Cross Care Center, San Pierre, Indiana. She was born June 22, 1931 in West, Texas, to the late Emil and Bessie Rose (Simcick) Marek. On February 8, 1954 in West, Texas, she married Douglas Iverson; he preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Iverson was a homemaker, babysitter, took care of others and was a former janitor and seamstress. She was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church and liked embroidery, house plants and flowers. She is survived by two daughters: Annette (Allan) Owens of Medaryville, Kathy (Doug) Ross of Science Hill, Kentucky; three sons: Richard of Lafayette, Indiana, Robert of Jacksonville, North Carolina, David of San Pierre; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two brothers: Billy and Marvin Marek, both of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Coldiron and one sister, Bessie Herbruck. Services were held Tuesday, June 7 at the Medaryville Christian Church with Donald Nadza officiating. Burial was in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville. Arrangements were mady by Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville.
