Mrs. Rose McLimans, 66, died in a Wagner hospital following an illness of one month. She had been in failing health several years. Burial was in the Perry, Oklahoma Grace Hill cemetery. She attended Pleasant Valley school northwest of Perry, worked as Chief Operator for the Perry Telephone service for five years, was married July 20,1925 to Glen McLimans and became the mother of their only child, Bonnie. Rose enjoyed an especially close relationship with her big brother, Andrew Horn and his family. He wrote to her regularly while he was deployed to Europe during World War I. He and his wife Amelia and their children visited with her often when they drove from their farm 12 miles into town. Andrew and Amelia's daughters, Marcella and Loraine, each lived with her in Perry when they attended Perry High School. In addition to her husband of the home, survivors included her daughter Bonnie McLimans Davis of Tulsa; four brothers: Pete Horn, Dallas; Andrew Horn, Perry; Joe Horn, Red Rock; and Frank Horn, Phoenix, Arizona. Also surviving were four sisters: Miss Nettie Horn and Miss Jennie Horn of Perry, Mrs. Paulina Horn Bodenstein and Mrs. Emily Horn Drassen of Ponca City and two grandchildren.
