Diane Nelson Obituary Diane (Meduna) Nelson, 41, of Wahoo died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at her home in Wahoo. She was born Sept. 17, 1964, in Wahoo to George L. and Ludmilla (Coufal) Meduna. She attended St. Wenceslaus Grade School and was a 1982 graduate of Bishop Neumann High School. She married Tim Nelson on July 21, 1984, in Wahoo. She worked at Haven House and later South Haven Living Center as licensed practical nurse. She was attending Southeast Community College, studying to become a registered nurse. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Survivors include: her husband, Tim Nelson; a daughter, Lindsey Nelson of Wahoo; a son, Christopher Nelson of Wahoo; her mother, Ludmilla Meduna of Wahoo; a brother, George J. Meduna of Lincoln; and two sisters, Mary Ann (and husband, Chris) High and Janice (and husband, Mark) Meyerson, all of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo with the Rev. Charles Townsend officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo. A memorial has been established to Saunders County Hospice Care.
