Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 5, 2022 ~ 10:30 a.m. Rosary ~ 10:00 a.m. St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church ~ Wahoo, Nebraska Interment at St. Francis Cemetery ~ Wahoo, Nebraska George J. Meduna, 69, of Lincoln, NE, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his home in Lincoln, NE. He was born February 1, 1952 in Wahoo, NE to George L. and Ludmilla (Coufal) Meduna. George attended country school, St. Wenceslaus School and Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, NE. He worked for the State of Nebraska. George was a very popular guy at OUR Homes in Lincoln, NE. Multiple times the staff, caretakers and people who lived there told us that George was a favorite person at the house. He had lots of friends and a wonderful church community at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. George liked to wear bib overalls and would say hello to all that he met. George was happy in his life and thankful for visitors that came to see him. He received the best care from his case worker, Greg Bernt and Dr. Roy. He lived a good long life and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ludmilla Meduna; sister, Diane Nelson; nephew, Nick High. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann (Chris) High; Janice (Mark) Meyerson; brother-in-law, Tim Nelson; and three nieces and two nephews.
