Mrs. Lillian "Lil" Kozelski, age 80, of West, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 1990 in Lubbock, Texas. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West, by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Kozelski was born October 12, 1909 in West. She was the daughter of J. F. Urbanovsky and Hattie Haidek Urbanovsky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herman Kozelski, founder and owner of Kozelski Ford in West. Mrs. Kozelski was a graduate of the University of Texas and taught school in Aquilla, West High School, and St. Mary's School. She also operated Kozelski Ford for several years after her husband passed away. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, the Altar-Rosary Society and the P.T.C. Choir. Mrs. Kozelski is survived by a nephew, Mr. Joseph Urbanovsky and wife Patty, great-niece and nephew Julie Marie and John Joseph Urbanovsky, all of Lubbock. Pallbearers were Richard Kozelski, Brian Prasifka, David Prasifka, Ronnie Sykora, Pat Sykora and Brian Sykora.
