Bio
Christina was born in Alpine Utah. Her parents were John McDaniel born 10 Jul 1812 in Ohio and Sarah Buys born 14 Feb 1839 in Albany, Albany, New York. She was their third child. She married Franklin Richard Carter 28 Jul 1880 in Provo, Utah. Her mother Sarah Buys Mc Daniel is also buried in the Provo Cementery. Also her name on the headstone is spelled wrong She always spelled her name Christina not Christena. Christina was my great grandmother & I lived with her for six years in the house she and Frank had built. In some records you will find her as Steena or Teenie Carter. I remember her being called Teenie when I lived with her. I was ask to delete my entries for her father John Mc Daniel aka John Mc Donald & her brother Anderson. Also her mother Sarah Buys Mc Daniel is not buried in the Alpine Cemetery. She is in the Provo cemetery.
