Harrison "Slim" Wilborn, Jr. was born on February 25, 1932 in Oaks, Oklahoma to Samuel Harrison Wilborn and Lue Ella (Beasley) Wilborn. He passed from this life on April 10, 2009 at his home in Mounds, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 1 month & 16 days. "Slim" had lived in this area for most of his life. He was a graduate of Mounds High School and his working years were spent as a pipefitter and inspector for Texaco and Sun Oil Co. He was a member of the Sapulpa Masonic Lodge #170 and will be remembered for his loves of driving in antique tractor pulls, bird hunting, fishing and spending time with family & friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Patsy Cox Wilborn on November 20, 1996 as well as by three brothers; Roy, Ralph and George and one sister; Edna Creason. He is survived by his wife whom he married on July 15, 2000 at the Duck Creek Church in Liberty Mounds; two sons and their wives; two brothers; one sister; five granddaughters, two grandsons, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; brother-in-law and wife; sister-in-law; one step-son, two step-daughters, ten step-grandchildren, eleven step-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and good friends.
