Sequoyah County Times newspaper, Sunday, October 21, 2007: Funeral services for George Martin WILBORN, 65, of Muldrow, [Oklahoma] are being held at 2 pm Saturday at the Church of God in Muldrow with Pastor Shirley Harrod and Kenneth Creason officiating. Burial is in Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. Wilborn was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Tyler, Texas, to Harrison WILBORN and Louella (BEASLEY) WILBORN. He died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, in Muldrow. Mr. Wilborn was an installer and repairman for Southwestern Bell Telephone, and retired after 40 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was of the Baptist faith. He married Nina Faye HAYS Feb. 14, 1980 in McDougal, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Nina of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sonja and Kerry NEEDHAM of Muldrow, and Cheryle and Travis THOMPSON of Uniontown, Ark.; four sons and one daughter-in-law: Waylon REEVES of Fort Smith, Ark., Anthony and Angie REEVES, and Aaron WILBORN, all of Greenwood, Ark., and Christopher WILBORN of the home; 13 grandchildren: Brooke and Brittany NEEDHAM, J.D. and Joseph BRUNK, Joey, Katie, Kayla and Jacob THOMPSON, Matthew and Molly REEVES, and Ben, Lauren and Josh SHIPMAN; one sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and James BLAIR of Bristow, [Oklahoma]; three brothers: Frank and Harrison WILBORN both of Mounds, [Oklahoma] and Clyde WILBORN of Estancia, Calif.; one very special niece, Michelle COGGINS; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Edna CREASON; and two brothers, Ralph and Roy WILBORN. Pallbearers are Waylon Reeves, Anthony Reeves, Aaron Wilborn, Christopher Wilborn, Robert Reeves, Jim Stubblefield, and Rodney Reeves. Honorary pallbearers are co-workers at Southwestern Bell Telephone.
