BROWDER Vivian Juanita Wing Browder, born Sept. 5, 1931, a resident of the Styx River Community area for most of her life, a resident of Lowndes County for the last 15 years, and a resident of Orchard Health Care Center in Hayneville for the past 17 months, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold E. Wing and Sallie E. Pierce Wing Hitchcock; a sister, Dorothy E. Wing Amador of Decatur; two brothers, Harold Lloyd Wing and sister-in-law Mag Macias of Bonifay, Fla.; and twin brother, Virgil Curtis Wing of Crestview, Fla. Survivors include a brother, Herman E. Wing (Marilyn Weber) of Bridgewater, Va.; estranged husband, Marven Browder of Robertsdale; three children, Clement Ronald (Margie) Sutton of Montgomery, Mary I. Sutton (Mike) Weekley of Robertsdale, and David M. (Marsha) Browder of Robertsdale; brother-in-law, Al Amador of Decatur; sister-in-law, Janiece Boykin Wing of Crestview, Fla.; two grandsons, Ronald M. Sutton of Lexington, Ky., and Michael B. Weekley of Robertsdale; one great-grandson, Austin K. Davis of Robertsdale; numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends, as well as the more recent friends she shared her life with in Lownes County. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at Hinote Cemetery in Styx River. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Styx River Baptist building fund or to the Hinote Cemetery upkeep fund. Cremation arrangements were made by Bell Funeral Home, Hayneville.
