Obituary - 1958 - Services for Mrs. Chlastak Held Here - Funeral services for Mrs. Vaclav (Barbara) Chlastak, 78, of Rt. 3, Yoakum, were held here Saturday Sept. 13, 8:45 a.m., the Rev. E. J. Jansky officiated at Buffington Chapel, St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Cemetery. A long time resident of this area, Mrs. Chlastak was born Dec. 3, 1879. She died at the local hospital Thursday 4:30 p.m. Survivors include four sons, Joe and Vaclav Chlastak Jr. of Yoakum, John Chlastak of LaSalle and Felix Chlastak of Dodson, one daughter, Mrs. Adela Waterford of Olla, La.; 11 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Valentine Chilek of Shiner, Fred Chilek of Hochheim and G. Chilek of Wharton; one sister, Miss Frances Chilek of Shiner; nieces and nephews.
