Mary Ann Betak Ochoa, 76, of Taylor passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple surrounded by her loving family. The Rosary will be 7 PM Monday, February 16, 2009 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at St. Mary's catholic Church with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. Mary was born June 23, 1932, to August and Annie Svehlak in Granger, TX. She went to school in Granger and has been in the restaurant business for 53 years. She was devoted and loyal to her customers and enjoyed every minute of it. She was a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and will be missed by everyone. She enjoyed the casinos, traveling and being with family and friends. And she was an inspiration to all. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tino Ochoa, and her brother August Svehlak II and stepson Alex Ochoa; Brothers in law: Emil Cervenka; Johnnie Huff; Anton Vanek; August Kaderka; grandson Lance Hunter. Her survivors include her Brothers and Sisters: Lilly and Willie Cervenka; Agnes Cervenka; Sister-in-law Hortense Svehlak; Martha Huff; Annie Vanek; Vlasta Kaderka; Dorothy and Johnny Adamek; Louis and Maria Svehlak; Alice and Leroy Kubacak; Jody and Chris Svehlak. Children: Charlie Lee Betak, Jr. and wife Linda; Carolyn J. Betak; David W. Betak and wife Marcy; Stepchildren; Paul Ochoa, Madeline Ohno; Joe Ochoa; Tina Rodriguez; Grandchildren; Travis Lee Betak and wife Jennifer; Tracy Lynn Betak; Lee Matthew Betak; Shelley Smith; Cory Littlepage; Christopher Garner; Leslie Pritchett, Veronica Ochoa; Sara; Ochoa and Chloe Ochoa. Great Grandchildren: Christopher Lamparty; Seth Summers, Kira Smith and Anissa Smith. Pallbearers are James Betak; Jonathan Betak; Bennie Cervenka; Gary Kaderka; James Svehlak; Larry Svehlak. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons: Travis Betak, Lee Betak, Cory Littlepage, and Christopher Garner.
