Charlie Lee Betak, Sr., born on November 28, 1928, passed away Wednesday September 19, 2018. Charlie loved his Bar-B-Que, fishing, camping, dominos, polka music, gambling in Louisiana and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by parents Lee and Lucy Betak, brothers James and Roy Betak, and his wife of 33 years, Patsy. Charlie is survived by wife Margie, children Charlie Jr (Linda), Carolyn, David, Linda Gootman (Wallace), Doug Johle (Maricela), Ronnie O’Brien (Stacey), Craig O’Brien (Sandy), and Angela Sweet (Paul), numerous loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; Brother Edward (Sharon) and Ray (Gloria). Visitation will be Sunday September 23, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and a Funeral Service will be on Monday September 24,2018 at 10:00 am at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Texas.
