Lillian J. Cervenka, 90, of Granger, TX passed away, July 20, 2012 in Taylor. She was born March 7, 1922 in Granger, TX to Annie & August Svehlak. Born and raised in Granger, Lillian spent most of her life on the farm. She loved to play bingo and also worked at the bingo games. For a short time, Lillian did work outside of the home for Bluebonnet Nursing Home. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Willie Cervenka; son Willie Cervenka; sisters Agnes Cervenka, Annie Vanek, Martha Huff, Dorothy Adamek and Alice Kubacak and husband, Leroy; brothers Jody Svehlak and wife Chris, Louis Svehlak and wife Marie; sister-in-law Hortense Svehlak; grandson Brian Cervenka and wife Anne Marie; grandchildren Alex, Adam, and Grace. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother August Svehlak, brother-in-laws Emil Cervenka, Tony Vanek, Johnnie Huff and August Kaderka, and sister Mary Betak Ochoa. Visitation will be from 6:00–7:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home on Monday, July 23, 2012 with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass with be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Granger, TX.
