Bio

Bernard married Anna Plantenberg in Crofton on Nov. 5, 1924. They had five children. Anna died Aug. 9, 1938, leaving Bernard to raise their five children. Bernard married Jeannette (Krenzer) Schroedter Dec. 21, 1955. They had two children. He left behind his five children, 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. One great-grandson and one great-granddaughter preceded him in death. A 150 year history of North Bend, Nebraska, 1856-2006. Walsworth Pub., 2006.
