Richard Dick Graveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 15, 1990 at the Friesen Cemetery in Henderson, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Richard Dick Richard E. Dick, the son of George and Anne (Penner) Dick, was born at Henderson, Nebraska, on June 26, 1918, and passed away at Central City, Nebraska, on October 11, 1990, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, and 15 days. He grew up and attended school at Henderson. During his lifetime, he had lived various places with different occupations, including 17 years in Aurora, working for the railroad and the city, later, living quite some time in Colorado and Wyoming. In 1981, he returned to Aurora, where he retired. For the last 3 years he has lived in nursing homes. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, John, Jake, Herbert, and George, and one grandson Tim Jacobi. He is survived by 3 sons, Lanny of Denver, Colorado, Gary of Pueblo, Colorado, and George of Spring, Texas; 2 daughters, Ruth Ann Jacobi of Coarses Gold, California and Janet Hall of Arlington, Virginia; 4 brothers, Abe of Henderson, Robert of Harrisburg, Ed and Earl, both of Aurora; 4 sisters, Ann Hoffman of Dalles, Oregon, Eva Friesen of Roseburg, Oregon, Rose Watson of Corpus Christi, Texas and Marie Hoffman of Aurora; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
