Bio

Son of Clarence Tillett and Myrtle Geer Tillett. On Sept. 6, 1964 he married Dorothy Kemp in Grayson County. He was one of the finest brick masons in Grayson County for 60 years. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Tillett of Van Alstyne; daughters, Libby Dickey of Gunter, and Kathy Tolbert and husband, Steve of Howe; son, Ricky Tillett and wife, Cynthia of Tom Bean; stepchildren, Jean Caldwell of Sherman, Buddy Atkins of Plano, Annie Warden of McKinney and Choice Atkins of Van Alstyne; grandchildren, Bill Tillett, Steve Dickey, Allen Dickey, Marcey Bench, Kristi Trader, and Jessica Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Joseline Tillett, Caroline, Annika and Mary Kate Dickey, Ethan Tillett, Meredith Bench, Braidon and K Y Trader; sisters, Jenny Wise and husband, R W of Van Alstyne, Nita Boatwright and husband, Emmett of Sherman, and Joann Marr of Gordonville; brothers, James Tillett and wife, Rachel of Van Alstyne, Wayne Tillett of Florida and Jerry Tillett and wife, Kay of Caddo Mills; sisters-in-law, Robbie Tillett of Van Alstyne, and Maurine Tillett of Whitewright.
