Bio
Iris Jean Speidel, known to her family as Jean, was born 12 October 1939, above the family Pork butcher shop at 12 Marino Mart, in Dublin, Ireland. Because she was born two months premature, her mother, Iris, who had had a baby on 13 January 1939, hardly released that she was pregnant. When she went into labour, she sent her eldest daughter, Audrey aged 2, down the stairs to get her father, Eric, who quickly wrapped the newborn premie in warm blankets and quickly drove her to the hospital. When Jean was about 5 years old, she was hit by a car when running across the street by the Bull Wall. Jean was a lovely lady who loved the Lord and was very happy when she met and married Bernard Pata at age 63. They were married at the Broadmoor Community Church Fellowship Hall on 17th March 2002 and everyone wore green.
