Bio
Georgia Tupey, age 90, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008. Georgia was born March 31, 1918, in Creechville, near Ennis, Texas. She attended school in Crisp, Texas and was a member of the Ennis Sewing Circle and the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis. Early in her life, she was a "Nannie" to Jennie Patterson in Dallas and then later moved to California for a career with Griffin Spring Company. After retirement she purchased and moved to the family farm in Ennis. Georgia is survived by four sisters: Agnes Dujka, Anne Zvolanek, Alice Roberts and Libbie Wisniewski; eleven nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Wesley Tupy, mother, Aloise Bobalik Tupy, step-mother, Bessie Nadenicek Tupy, sisters, Mary Sebestik and Mildred Baker and brother, Wesley Tupy. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time December 30. Interment will be in the Crisp Cemetery, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
