Mary Tupy Sebestik, age 88, died September 26, 2002. Funeral services were held September 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland, Dallas. Burial was in Restland Cemetery. Mary Sebestik was born March 10, 1914 in Crisp, near Ennis. Her husband, Frank Sebestik, preceded her in death in 1985. Mary's parents were Welsey and Aloise Bobalik Tupy; and step-mother Bessie Tupy. She is survived by sisters, Anne Tupy, Libbie Wisniewski, Alice Roberts, and Agnes Dujka; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased sister, Mildred and husband, William Baker, brother, Wesley Tupy, wives, Valie and Frances Tupy, and Mary and Frank made several trips to visit relatives in the Czech Republic in Europe. Mary was a member of Ennis Sewing Circle and Dallas Circle of Czech Women. She was also a member of the Brethren Church of Dallas, Sokol, SPJST Lodge 130, Dallas and WFLA. She worked for Timken Roller Bearing Company, retiring after 30 years. Pallbearers were Carl T. Roberts, John Wesley Roberts, Milan Dujka, Milton Tupy, Steve Dujka, George Tupy and Bill Tupy.
