Anna Beth (Annie) Wells Our dearest ANNA BETH (ANNIE) WELLS, 87, a long time resident of April Sound, went to be with her Lord on January 13, 2009. Annie was born October 28, 1921, in Shiloh, Texas to the late Tom and Nora McElroy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conroe. Annie was a loving and devoted wife for over 65 years to Leonard Wells. Annie and Leonard were owner's of Fowler and Wells Men's Clothing in Houston for many years. She is also survived by sisters, Bessie Thomas, Tommie Wells, Lavette Teer and brothers, Alfred and Bernie McElroy, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Funeral Home in Conroe. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2009, at the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Merle Blado officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m.in the Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh, Texas.
